Aviation Security Awareness: General
This training programme is designed to provide all personnel working in the aviation environment with essential knowledge of aviation security principles and procedures. It is aligned with the requirements of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to ensure compliance and promote a secure aviation system. The course is applicable to airport staff, airline personnel, service providers, and other stakeholders operating within the secure areas of an airport. The primary purpose of this programme is to create awareness and understanding of the security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies within the aviation environment. By educating personnel on security responsibilities, the programme aims to strengthen the overall security culture and enhance the effectiveness of aviation security measures across all sectors.
